To improve my abilities and my resistance to pain I did some more hard training. I started this training when I was about 12-13. To make my muscles in the abdomen harder I was hit with flat wood stick and iron bars (from the lifting weights), every time with stronger hits. While doing my sit ups exercises I was also hit with this iron bar in between. By doing this my muscles became very very strong and if somebody was to hit me there I wouldn´t feel any pain at all. Also this was a training for one of the acts, consisting of breaking a big a heavy piece of concrete in my naked tummy. Also I´ve been doing this act while laying down broken glasses or a bed of nails and swords. The training would ensure this would be easy to do for me.
Sometimes I was doing my sit ups in a bed of nails or broken glasses. Also on these beds I was doing push ups, lots them. Even sometimes, I said before, with a heavy weight in my back. Also occassionally the weight (a typical circular weight for lifting with the bars) was put into the fire, and while very hot it was put on my back for me to do my exercises.
I always also doing some jumps and karate/judo style movements on a layer of fresh broken glass. Also jumping and breaking thick pieces of wood and landing with my bare feet on those broken glasses.
Although it may sound like torture, I really enjoyed it, it was proving to myself what I was capable of doing, and I liked the challenges. Never had a major injury or cut, nor felt to much pain. Remember I am almost pain-proof :-)
